Food for thought (and it's a good thing, cuz I'm hungry!)

Just a thought to get your cogs turning - Do you ever look at circumstances from the other person's perspective? For example, you know how we humans always complain and throw out SO many negative comments about the news/TV etc. Sometimes, what I would like to ask people is, "Ok, so imagine you are in their position; how would you do it differently?" If you couldn't handle it better, I think a more positive result would be to not say anything. For example, watching "Around the Horn" on ESPN. I have heard countless complains about how the guys always interrupt each other, can't hear them talk, it's annoying etc etc. Ok. I have thought that at times also. Now, imagine that show with a more laid back approach. It doesn't work. How about a different show? What would you suggest? Personally, I can't think of a better alternative at that time of day, so I just sit back and chuckle at the 5 guys get all riled up over sports! I'll have other posts on this to expound much more in the future. In the mean time, try to look at things through other people's eyes and think about what you see.

A few thoughts

Hi everyone, just a couple of notes before I really start blogging! I have been kicking around this whole blogging idea for a while and finally decided to do it because I feel like I have some unique in-sights that I would like to share. Especially having to do with health and fitness and things of that nature since that is my passion. But also just unique thoughts that strike me as I am driving in my car or doing daily tasks, that I think, "Wow, I would love to share that with someone!" Not because I think it is so great and I'm so awesome, but I know that if I knew that nugget of information was out there, and I was in their shoes, I would want someone to share it with me. I decided to blog because I can write when the whims and inspirations hit me and they can be looked back upon. I can also have a much wider audience. So, if you like what you read, spread the word to your friends! I think also, most people are more receptive to what they read than what they hear. I hope you enjoy my blog! I would love to hear comments and interact with my readers so please feel free to contact me anytime! Thanks and remember, "If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always gotten!"
